Colour Mood Board

For my colour mood board I decided to take the top 5 colours that the customer said they would like to see on my magazine front cover, the reason why there was five is because some scored the same percentage but this also allowed me to have a range of choices shown and to choose from when it comes to the making. I decided to create my mood board by showing the different shades of each colour as some may be better on different backgrounds for example the darker end of the mood board will be used on white backgrounds and the lighter side on the darker backgrounds. I have included a variety of tones to show this and also allow me a variety of choice in when choosing which final colours to use, black will be used mainly for bold striking things like the masthead but may need a different shade of it for the outline to make it stand out of the page. I clearly laid out the mood board so it is obvious how they differ in shade, tone and also their group of colour.
